Job Description
Our Donor Services Team is growing, and we are looking for a new Donor Coordinator.
We are seeking a candidate with exceptional communication skills, ideally you are an
experienced Nurse or Midwife who is looking for a change, or a patient relationship/customer services coordinator in a healthcare setting to fill this position as a
Donor Coordinator.
Working out of our Sydney CBD clinic this is a full-time position within our centralized Donor Services Team. This is the perfect opportunity to use your previous clinical & customer service skills and move into a role with a true sense of purpose!
In this role you will be the main point of contact for our patients and donors providing support, information and coordination in their preparation to accessing our donor services or donating gametes.
This will include;
- Customer service/ Patient care – Supporting current and potential patients and donors through the process, advising them of the requirements, next steps and supporting them on their journey to access our services.
- Legislation & accreditation - Ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements in all states and countries that Genea practices gamete donation
- Records management -Management of Donor Service waiting lists and all relevant required information.
- Results reporting - Track pregnancies and liaise with counselling and nursing to ensure reporting to the donor register is done in a timely manner.
Qualifications
We will provide full training in all things Donor specific, to be successful in this role you will need;
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both in person and through phone and digital platforms
- A high level of empathy and care
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn - there is a lot to learn in this role, and we are willing to train but you must also be invested in your learning
- Strong computer skills and technical capability - We work on a range of platforms at Genea which you will need to learn. This role will have a variety of administrative components which will be key to your role.
- A good team player - at Genea we are all about working together to achieve a common outcome. The Donor team is a small one, but an essential one, so it is essential everyone works together to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients, donors and other members in the organisation we work with.
- Previous experience in reproductive health or fertility would be desirable but it is not essential.
