Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Assistant, located in New York, NY. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for supporting patient care, assisting with medical procedures, handling medical records, and ensuring the smooth operation of the medical office. Additional duties include preparing patients for examinations and drawing blood.
Qualifications
- Phlebotomy experience
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Experience with Medical Office operations and Medical Records management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) certification is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare is beneficial
