POSITION SUMMARY
The Head of Sales, US at Juno Genetics, US Inc. will be our first salesperson for the US. They will help build out the commercial structure in the US and lead the sales team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth. This role requires a strategic leader with deep industry knowledge and, preferably, expertise in preimplantation genetic testing or genetics, who is capable of driving sales excellence, coaching, and mentoring a high-performing team. The Head of Sales will hold the team accountable for achieving sales results, ensuring the development of key customer relationships, and driving overall business performance in the preimplantation genetic testing market.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Sales Leadership & Strategy Development:
- Build and lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth in the preimplantation genetic testing market
- Develop and implement sales strategies that align with organizational goals, market trends, and customer needs.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales tactics accordingly.
Team Management & Development:
- Train and develop a high-performing sales team with a focus on performance, accountability, and professional growth.
- Create and implement a performance management system, holding team members accountable for achieving sales quotas and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Sales Performance & Accountability:
- Set clear, measurable sales targets and hold team members accountable for achieving or exceeding them.
- Regularly assess team performance, providing feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, reviewing progress against targets, sharing best practices, and addressing challenges.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers, including fertility clinics, reproductive specialists and other key stakeholders
- Represent the company at industry conferences, meetings, and customer events to build brand awareness and customer loyalty.
Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
- Collaborate with internal partners to ensure alignment on sales goals, messaging, and deliver customer satisfaction
- Provide feedback to internal teams on customer needs and market trends to inform product and service development.
- Work closely with CEO to implement process and structure into the sales organization.
Budget & Forecasting:
- Prepare and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and resource allocation for the national team.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure the team operates within budgetary guidelines.
- Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and forecast future trends.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years of sales management experience.
- Strong strategic and leadership skills with excellent communication.
- Proven ability to drive sales growth and manage high-performing teams
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives, key decision-makers, and industry partners.
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field is preferred.
