I’m Dr. Sarah Haller, Clinical Psychologist and the founder of Shoreacres Therapy. I am a yoga teacher and mother of two young children, and in recent years have obtained certification in the assessment and treatment of perinatal mental health disorders, which is an area of passion of mine. I opened Shoreacres Therapy in 2022 with the aim to make therapy more accessible, and online booking easy and seamless for potential clients, in order to be able to support clients throughout the province.
Shoreacres Therapy is a virtual group therapy practice. We offer assessments and therapy to Adults residing in Ontario. We are generalists, and have specific interest in treating eating disorders and perinatal mental health. We are looking to grow our team to accommodate incoming referrals for Clinical Psychologists.
Our team atmosphere is supportive and caring, and we would welcome a new addition to the team who shares in our mission to deliver high-quality, evidence-based services that are client-centered and strengths based.
What We Are Looking For:
I am seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team for an independent contractor position. The flexibility to work evenings or weekends would be an asset. Clinical Psychologists with declared area of competence with Adults are welcome to apply.
Requirements:
-Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counselling Psychology from an accredited university, with valid licensure from the CPO
-Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills: the ability to establish rapport with clients quickly, collaboratively create treatment plans, while keeping up with your clinical charting
-The ability to thrive both working independently and within a team setting
-The interest and curiosity to learn from colleagues on our team and to grow professionally
Why Choose Shoreacres Therapy?
- Remote work: Working from home can be isolating, particularly in our line of work, which is why we invite clinicians to meet monthly over video to discuss cases, attend lunch and learns, and to learn from one another. I love hearing about cases and being able to provide feedback, and it can be such a great learning experience to hear others’ perspectives. As an aside, both myself and our RP reside in Burlington, ON, so the opportunity to meet in-person for candidates who live locally to discuss cases and socialize may also be an option
- You will have the flexibility to choose a manageable caseload during the hours of work that are most convenient for you
- Administrative support: Billing, scheduling, and electronic record keeping services are fully covered by Shoreacres Therapy and provided to you at no cost
- Full marketing support: Expenses related to marketing are covered, including a Psychology Today profile and advertising related to your services
- Professional Development: I encourage collaboration among team members and formally offer lunch and learn presentations/case conferences once per month
- Consultation: I offer consultation to team members as needed and training for clinicians wishing to learn more about the area of maternal mental health. Psychologists on our team have the opportunity to provide supervision and/or consultations to other clinicians on the team, if desired
- Competitive renumeration commensurate with virtual practices in the GTA
