Role Overview
As the Head of Growth, you will lead the strategy and execution of Hormona’s growth initiatives. You’ll take ownership of the full user lifecycle—from acquisition to retention and monetization—ensuring that every step of the user journey is optimized for maximum impact.
You will be responsible for driving scalable growth by leveraging data to identify opportunities, design experiments, and implement strategies that deliver measurable results. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and engineering, you’ll ensure alignment across growth efforts to drive engagement, conversions, and overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Growth Strategy: Design and implement a comprehensive growth strategy that drives accelerated user acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
- User Acquisition: Lead paid and organic acquisition strategies, identifying and optimizing key channels (e.g., paid media, SEO, partnerships, referrals) to grow the user base effectively.
- Conversion Rate Optimization: Own and optimize the onboarding, engagement, and upgrade funnels to convert free users to paid subscribers.
- Data-Driven Growth: Analyze user behavior, market trends, and performance metrics to identify opportunities and inform decisions. Use A/B testing and experiments to validate hypotheses and improve performance.
- Retention and Engagement: Develop strategies to improve user retention and increase LTV by creating personalized and engaging experiences for users.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of growth initiatives into the overall user experience.
- Growth Experimentation: Design, execute, and analyze experiments to test new growth ideas, optimize campaigns, and iterate on successful tactics.
- User Insights: Gather insights through data analysis, surveys, and focus groups to better understand user needs, pain points, and motivations.
- Marketing Alignment: Partner with the marketing team to align campaigns, promotions, and messaging to drive user acquisition and retention.
- Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of growth efforts and report findings to stakeholders.
- Scaling Growth: Build scalable systems and processes that support sustainable growth across all user touchpoints.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (5+ years) in growth, marketing, or a related field, ideally within the health, wellness, or subscription app industry.
- Strong understanding of data, user acquisition, retention, and monetization strategies, particularly in freemium or subscription-based business models.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, RevenueCat) and growth experimentation platforms.
- Experience in designing and running A/B tests, growth experiments, and performance campaigns.
- Hands-on experience with paid media platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads) and SEO strategies.
- A track record of driving measurable growth through innovative and scalable strategies.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and execute.
- A data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with mobile app growth strategies, particularly in health or wellness industries.
- Knowledge of subscription-based or SaaS business models and revenue optimization.
- Familiarity with women’s health trends, challenges, and opportunities in digital health.
- Advanced degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is a plus.
