Overview
The Clinic Director will oversee all day-to-day clinical and administrative operations, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and financial performance. The role is central to building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation across all departments like medical, nursing, laboratory, and administrative.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and direction across clinical, nursing, laboratory, and administrative functions.
- Ensure DOH compliance, clinical quality, and readiness for regulatory audits and accreditations (JAWDA, JCI, ISO, CAP, etc.).
- Lead the delivery of exceptional patient experience in line with the DOH's Patient Experience Standards and uphold HealthPlus IVF’s standards of safety, ethics, and service excellence.
- Oversee workforce planning, scheduling, and caregiver engagement to ensure optimal staffing and productivity.
- Implement performance management and development programs across the clinic.
- Manage patient complaints, inquiries, and escalation processes with empathy and professionalism.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, operational efficiency, and cost optimization without compromising care quality.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and department heads to translate strategy into measurable operational outcomes.
- Act as primary liaison with regulators, partners, and governing bodies, ensuring clear and timely communication.
- Support research and innovation initiatives to advance IVF and women’s health outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or Business Administration (Master’s preferred).
- 7plus years of progressive leadership experience within healthcare operations; prior IVF or women’s health experience is a strong advantage.
- Deep understanding of DOH Abu Dhabi regulations and international healthcare accreditation frameworks.
- Proven track record managing clinical operations, quality audits, and patient experience programs.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluent in English (Arabic preferred).
- Proficient in healthcare information systems (EMR/HIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
