Overview
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Supply Chain Director to lead the end-to-end procurement and inventory function of HealthPlus IVF, one of Abu Dhabi’s leading fertility and women’s health networks.
The Supply Chain Director will oversee all sourcing, contracting, inventory management, vendor relations, and process optimization activities. The role will ensure that all clinical and non-clinical supplies are procured efficiently, cost-effectively, and in full compliance with UAE healthcare regulations — supporting operational excellence and patient safety across all facilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the centralized procurement and supply chain operations across all HealthPlus IVF entities.
- Develop and implement the annual procurement strategy and budget, aligning purchasing priorities with business goals.
- Manage end-to-end vendor relationships — from sourcing, tendering, and evaluation to negotiation and performance monitoring.
- Standardize products and consumables across departments to maximize cost savings and streamline operations.
- Ensure full regulatory and quality compliance with DOH and UAE supply chain standards.
- Maintain accurate and reconciled ERP-based inventory systems, validating physical stock levels and consumption.
- Drive ongoing cost optimization initiatives, identifying alternative suppliers and improving lead times.
- Support audits, contract renewals, and documentation of supplier credentials and licenses.
- Lead the development of supply chain policies, SOPs, and dashboards to track KPIs and ensure accountability.
- Mentor and develop supply chain team members, fostering a culture of efficiency, ownership, and integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in healthcare supply chain or procurement, preferably within Abu Dhabi.
- Proven expertise in vendor management, demand planning, inventory control, and cost optimization.
- Strong understanding of UAE regulatory frameworks, procurement law, and healthcare supply compliance including RAFED.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel proficiency.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency preferred.
