eading medical imaging groups in Australia.Due to continued growth and expansion AHP Healthcare are currently seeking a Sonographerto join a multi-disciplinary team of medical professionals to provide treatment and consultations to patients that require a variety of scans, general, MSK, obstetrics and vascular. Responsibilities: - Performing a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, and musculoskeletal scans
- Capturing and analysing ultrasound images to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions
- Providing exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive patient experience
- Maintaining detailed patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Adhering to safety protocols and quality assurance standards to ensure the highest level of patient safety
Requirements: - Recognised tertiary qualification in Medical Sonography or a related field
- Have the ability to work on your own, but also within a team environment
- Expertise in performing a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, and musculoskeletal scans
- Exceptional patient care skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest industry practices and technologies
