Position Title: Executive Program Lead
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer
Status: Full-time
Location: San Francisco – Hybrid
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Executive Program Lead will oversee the strategic and operational execution of two translational development programs advancing through Medicines360’s innovation hub. These two programs are in maternal health that include innovative biomarker development and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML). They will lead cross-functional teams through product development, global clinical planning & execution, technology development and execution, regulatory strategies, and commercialization assessments and readiness. The Executive Program Lead will ensure alignment across internal stakeholders, external collaborators, strategic partners, and adhere to project timelines, driving toward go/no-go decisions and scalable solutions for obstetrical risk prediction. This position will also provide senior oversight and direction from a project management perspective on other products in the development pipeline.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the project management of two high-impact early-stage technologies in maternal health that include innovative biomarker development and the use of AI & ML. This role will lead cross-functional teams through product development, global clinical trial planning and execution, regulatory strategies, and commercialization assessments and readiness.
- Develop and manage integrated cross-functional project plans, milestones, budgets, and timelines across all technologies.
- Drive project activities to achieve coordinated project execution according to agreed-upon statements of work, partner agreements, including activities with academics, clinical partners, and various data platforms and analyses.
- Assist with building and managing cross-functional teams, including clinical, regulatory, software, device development experts, and data analysis.
- Facilitate weekly/monthly program meetings and ensure clear communication and project management across internal and external stakeholders.
- Partner with the clinical function to oversee the design, planning and execution of a large, multi-center, global observational cohort study
- Partner with the clinical function to ensure collection, storage and analysis of biosamples and integration of wearable data.
- Serve as the central point of contact and facilitator of interactions with strategic partner/funder, academia, and internal strategic and business teams.
- Collaborate with Medicines360 executives, including CEO, COO, Clinical, Commercial, consultants and KOLs to align program goals with organizational strategy.
- Provide project management oversight to other project managers managing the development of other pipeline products.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or Business (MS, MBA preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in research and development project management within biotech, diagnostics, or medical device sectors.
- Familiarity with proteomics, diagnostics, imaging, machine learning, and maternal-fetal medicine preferred
- Proven success in managing complex, multi-phase development programs from discovery through commercialization.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical trial operations, regulatory strategy (US and UK), and partnership management.
- Strong proactive strategic leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced startup like environment.

- Highly organized, flexible, comfortable with ambiguity, and the ability to remain composed under pressure
- Demonstrates passion and enthusiasm for Medicines360’s vision, and motivates, leads, and empowers others to achieve organizational goals
- Excellent understanding and proficiency with Microsoft Office, including project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet); PMP certification preferred
- Must be able to travel occasionally up to 20%
IN-OFFICE PRESENCE: Please refer to the Hybrid and Remote Work Guidelines for in-office presence. The current in-office requirement is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/MISC:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- The person in this position may need to occasionally move throughout the office to attend meetings in different rooms.
- Continuously operates a computer and occasionally uses other office productivity machinery, such as copy machines, and computer printer
- The ability to communicate information and ideas so that others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
