My client is looking to fill 1 Full-time Direct Hire Ultrasound Sonographer position available in San Francisco, California.
- Obtain appropriate patient clinical information from requesting physician and/or service prior to performing exam.
- Prepare patient for imaging.
- Prepare room and equipment prior to imaging and after completion of exam.
- Demonstrate appropriate self-critique of exams to include ability to recognize sub-optimal techniques and equipment malfunctions.
- Meet physical requirements to perform all aspects of diagnostic sonography studies in the inpatient as well as outpatient settings, including but not limited to: performing portable exams, transferring and transporting gurney and wheelchair
- Maintain RDMS credential(s) according to the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography's criteria.
Requirements of the Ultrasound Technologist
- Require ARDMS in Abdominal and OB/GYN Sonography.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Abdomen) (RDMS-AB)
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) certification
Requires previous ultrasound experience
BLS Certification
Graduated from a CAHEEP accredited ultrasound program?
Requires experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, and or equivalent exp
Flexibility in scheduling, ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays.

Pay: Up to $195,000.00 per year
