The Baptist Health October 2025 New Grad RN Residency is now accepting applications
exclusively for the North Region locations, which include Boca Raton Regional Hospital, Bethesda East Hospital and Bethesda West Hospital. This comprehensive, evidence-based onboarding, education and training program is designed specifically to transition newly graduated registered nurses from students to safe, competent professional practitioners. The program is designed to help them gain the experience, judgment, skills and confidence they need to navigate the complexity of hospital life. Integrated into our hospital's educational structure, the BHSF New Grad RN Residency includes guided preceptor clinical experience, instructor-led core curriculum, interactive classes and skills labs, a formal mentoring program, debriefing/self-care sessions, and 360-degree evaluation. RN Residents, with support, progress to the competent level quickly, safely, and effectively. The length of the residency program is 18-22 weeks.
The Residency is projected to begin on October 20, 2025. This opportunity is open to recent RN graduates with less than 6 months of acute care experience, or RNs with under 1 year of experience in non-acute care settings. Collaborative Support Model - also part of the RN residency supportive components brings together the team in a meeting to discuss the resident progression. The team includes the leader, educator, preceptor and resident to establish goals for the residents’ success.

Estimated pay range for this position is $33.04- $42.01 / hour depending on specialty.
Qualifications
New Grads must be graduates from a nursing program accredited by the CCNE or ACEN by August 2025; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Associate degree graduates must commit to obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire. Candidates selected must obtain a Florida RN license along with a current BLS card prior to the start of the residency.
The RN Residency requires full flexibility. Candidates selected will be required to attend all didactic and clinical components, therefore
time off is not approved during the duration of the residency.
Candidates selected for the residency will need to provide a copy of the following documents:
- 3 Letters of Recommendation from your clinical professor/instructor, preferred.
- Copy of Nursing Diploma or Unofficial Transcript reflecting the degree awarded date.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider card issued by the American Heart Association which must be current until at least 1/2026.
