Job Summary: Responsible for providing care focused on gynecological services, reproductive health, postpartum care and peri-post menopause care to the patients of Community Health Alliance (CHA); which may include adolescent girls, women of childbearing age and post-menopausal women.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills to build rapport with patients and explain complex medical issues in a way that is easy to understand
- Active listening and interviewing skills to uncover symptoms and explore concerns
- Effective written communication skills to keep accurate, clear records
- Ability to remain upright and stationary for prolonged periods and aid in moving patients and equipment
- Critical thinking and analytical skills to interpret the findings of exams and results and make diagnoses
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, reproductive health and pharmacology
- Familiarity with medical equipment used for diagnostics specifically related to women’s health and software used for medical records
- Ability to diagnose and treat patients within scope of practice
- Ability to perform prenatal and postnatal examinations
- Ability to provide emotional support to expectant mothers
- Thorough understanding of infection control procedures and standards of care for reproductive health
Education And Experience
- Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) or Certified Midwife (CM) from the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) or Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) from the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM) required.
- Minimum of two years practice experience preferred
