Job Overview
New Direction Fertility Centers is a state-of-the-art fertility clinic offering a wide variety of treatments ranging from basic women's health to the most advanced fertility technologies. We are looking for a full time front office receptionist to join our energetic and growing team. The front office receptionists are an integral part of our team and the first line of contact for our patients. You are literally our first impression and we highly value that. The front office receptionist we are seeking must have excellent communication skills, projects a pleasant and professional image and enjoy both the daily exchanges with patients as well as the duties and responsibilities of accomplishing administrative tasks. 1-2 Years of Medical Front Office experience is preferred but all are encouraged to apply.

Duties

Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Manage multi-line phone systems, responding to inquiries and directing calls appropriately.
Schedule patient appointments and manage the clinic calendar efficiently.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Verify insurance information and assist with medical billing processes.
Handle medical collections and follow up on outstanding accounts.
Utilize EMR systems for patient management.
Review care plans and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
Assist with clerical duties including filing, typing, and data entry using Microsoft Office and Google applications.
Provide support for medical coding using ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT coding standards.
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth operations within the clinic.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with health information management and medical records.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Strong computer skills including proficiency in EHR systems and Microsoft Office.
Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
Ability to manage time effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
