The Telecom Administrator II will manage the onboarding, technical workload, and day to day activities of administering our phone system (Ring Central and other technologies). Responsibilities of this role include system administration, design, engineering, modifying telecom systems, and support of all enterprise telecommunications platform services and associated collaboration technologies.
This person will be well versed in the execution of RingCentral’s phone system, Contact Center, and associated collaboration tool processes, policies, and procedures. Needs to understand and recommend best practice for a highly effective and stable telecommunications environment. Must also understand concepts of telephony including TDM and SIP technologies, RingCentral management, collaboration, and IVR design. This role will serve as the subject matter expert for telecommunications, supporting daily operations, system configurations, workforce tools, and vendor/partner coordination. Will also possess knowledge on basic networking concepts.
Responsibilities

Designs, develops, implements, maintains, and enhances telecommunications networks, systems, and equipment with a focus on RingCentral, including end-user extensions, call queues, porting procedures, site configurations, IVRs, conferencing tools, traditional and electronic fax systems, and reporting dashboards.

Analyzes existing networks and systems identifying opportunities for improvement

Lead project strategy meetings. Partner with user groups to design and operate migration of collaborative platform systems in stage and production environments; build and maintain project documentation in conjunction with business partner needs, manage change management process; implement changes on approved schedules.

Ensures daily, weekly, and monthly statistics, status reports, and graphical reporting aids are completed and continually modified to meet the needs of the department and business partners.

Execute telecom projects including analyzing users requirements and modifying telecommunication systems to meet business needs. Participates in project meeting(s) as needed to ensure that developmental projects are transitioned into production. Analyzes the needs and requirements of users and develops documentation as needed.

Interfaces with users of Information Technology, employing a high degree of tact and diplomacy to promote a positive image of the department. Resolves problem situations in a professional manner.

Accurately communicates pertinent information to create a work environment that lends itself to the best interests of departmental personnel and customer service.

Provides administrative tasks as detailed above.

Attends Meetings and related non-project administrative duties.
Qualifications

2-4 years’ experience administering a Ring Central environment or relevant experience in telecommunications administration

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience building and maintain process diagrams via applications (preferably MS Visio or LucidChart) preferred.

Previous healthcare or organization healthcare technology experience preferred.

Relevant Telecommunications or Networking Certifications are a plus.

Experience with Nice InContact or Ring Central Contact Center a plus.
