Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate OB/GYN Nurse to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients' conditions and provide urgent care as needed.
- Participate in discharge planning, ensuring patients understand follow-up care.
- Provide education to patients regarding their health, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in critical care transport situations.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Stay informed about advancements in obstetric and gynecological nursing practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in an OB/GYN or women's health setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical-surgical nursing practices is beneficial.
- Knowledge of physiology related to pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery is essential.
- Experience in emergency medicine or urgent care settings is a plus.
- Ability to provide toddler care when necessary for family-centered approaches.
