Role & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient obstetric & gynecological consultations, including antenatal, postnatal, and fertility assessments.
- Manage normal and high-risk pregnancies, perform vaginal deliveries, caesarean sections, and emergency obstetric procedures.
- Conduct gynecologic surgeries – laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, and open – ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and patient safety standards.
- Interpret ultrasound and Doppler studies, guide diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate with neonatology, anesthesiology, and critical care teams for multidisciplinary care and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation, participate in CME, mentor junior doctors, and drive patient education programs in the Bawana community.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- MBBS with MD/MS or DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology OR DGO with substantial clinical experience.
- Valid Delhi Medical Council registration and eligibility to practice in India.
- 3+ years independent obstetric & gynecologic surgical experience, including caesarean section and laparoscopic procedures.
- Proficiency in ultrasound interpretation, fetal monitoring, and emergency obstetric management.
- Excellent patient communication skills and commitment to evidence-based practice.
Preferred
- Fellowship in minimally invasive gynecology or reproductive medicine.
- Exposure to hospital quality standards (NABH/JCI) and EMR systems.
- Interest in community outreach, adolescent health, and preventive programs.
