Benezra Women’s Care is a leading private OB/GYN practice in Melbourne, Florida, providing compassionate, patient-centered care. We are seeking a motivated Medical Scribe to join our team and support clinical documentation during patient visits.
Responsibilities
Accurately document patient encounters in eClinicalWorks (ECW) during real-time exams
- Enter patient history, physical exam findings, and treatment plans as dictated by provider
- Prepare charts, update patient records, and support accurate coding
- Assist with light administrative or front-desk tasks as needed
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Strong typing skills and excellent grammar/spelling
- Medical terminology knowledge or prior scribe experience preferred (but not required)
- Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
- Pre-health (pre-med, PA, NP) students encouraged to apply
- Familiarity with EMRs (ECW is a plus – training provided)
Schedule & Compensation
- Monday–Thursday schedule (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM), Friday 8:30-AM -12:00PM
- No weekends or holidays
- $20/hour, paid biweekly
