Job Description
A loving family is seeking a warm, experienced nanny to help care for their newborn. This role focuses on caring for the baby and supporting the mother, with a balance of newborn care and light household help. The nanny will care for the baby while mom rests, attends to personal tasks, or requires hands-on support.
This is a fully staffed home.
The ideal nanny for this role brings a mature, maternal presence with lots of newborn experience. A helpful, “can do” attitude and genuine desire to support both baby and mom is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive care for their newborn, handle bathing, diaper changes, and feeding routines.
- Assist mom with baby and baby-related tasks, often working alongside her.
- Keep the nursery neat, organized, and fully stocked.
- Keep the kitchen tidy after meals, sanitizing bottles, clean up play areas, and assist with organizational tasks as requested.
- Do laundry for baby and mom (wash, fold, and put away).
- Run occasional errands for the mother as needed.
Pay Rate
$75,000-85,000 annually, plus paid time off and holidays

Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm/5pm
- Every other weekend for first 6 months, after that weekends will only be occasional.
- Nanny must be flexible for the family is slight changes are needed, such as staying late or occasional overnights.

Kensington Nanny Agency Requirements
- Must have 3 or more years of recent, verifiable professional private home experience
- Understanding of professional boundaries, modesty and dressing appropriately
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Have a reliable car
- Excellent driving record
- Be drug-free
- Able to swim
- Have a stable work history
- Speak excellent English – must read & write
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Have no criminal record
- Be CPR & First Aid Certified (prior to beginning work in the home)
