Job Description
As the Senior Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in executing procurement and sourcing activities to support internal stakeholders across the URUS organization. You will focus on supplier engagement, competitive sourcing, and procurement coordination, working closely with various departments to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
SourcingSupport:
- PlanandexecuteRFXevents(RFI,RFQ,RFP)
- Assistinevaluatingpotentialsuppliers, support the executionand onboarding process and coordinatebidevaluationsandsuppliercomparisons
- Develop scope documents and evaluation criteria for sourcing events in consultation with stakeholders
Cross-FunctionalCollaboration:
- Workcollaboratively with global functions toclarifypurchasingneedsandalign sourcing activities with organizational timelines
- Supportthe organization's procurement transformation
SupplierEngagement &ContractingSupport:
- Obtaincompetitivequotesandmaintainrecordsofsupplierperformanceand pricing
- Supportnewvendoridentificationandqualification initiatives
- Assistindrafting,reviewing,andredliningcommercialterms
- CoordinateinternalreviewswithLegal,Finance,andOperationstofinalize contracts
- Monitorcontractperformanceandsupportchangerequestoramendment process
Documentation&Reporting:
- Maintaindetailedrecordsofsupplierquotes,evaluations,andsourcing decisions
- Highlightsourcingrisksorinefficienciesformitigationor escalation.
- Contributetospendanalysis,savingsreporting,andbenchmarkingactivities
- Trackkeyperformanceindicators(KPIs)forsuppliersandsourcing projects
Policy&Compliance:
- Actasaprocurementpolicyadvocate
- Supportinternal audits and contribute to supplier performance tracking
- Reinforcetheuseofpreferredchannelstopromotepolicy adherence
Education&Experience:
Bachelor'sdegree required
- Advanceddegreesorcertifications(e.g.,APICS, CSCP) highly beneficial
- 5+yearsofrelevantprocurementandtacticalsourcingexperience,preferablyinindirect procurement.
- Multi-Lingual (Spanish and Portuguese) capabilities highly desired
- StrongworkingknowledgeofprocurementsystemsandMicrosoft Excel
- Provenabilityto build relationships, provide excellent service, and collaboratewithcross-functionalteamsandexternal partners
- Trackrecordofeffectivelyidentifyingandsolvingsupplychain challenges
- Proficientindataanalysistoolsand techniques
- Willingnessandabilitytotravel(domestic and international) approximately 10%
