We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Healthcare Physician Liaison to join our growing team. In this dynamic, field-based role, you will play a critical part in driving business growth by expanding our network of referring providers, increasing brand visibility, and supporting a smooth, compassionate patient experience. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you’ll build and strengthen relationships with physicians, prospective patients, and key stakeholders across the Dallas/Fort Worth and Lubbock regions.
Responsibilities
Relationship Management
· Build and maintain relationships with referring physicians, medical offices, and community partners to increase referral volume.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for referring physicians, promptly responding to inquiries, providing updates on patient progress, and addressing concerns.
· Conduct regular outreach (via in-person visits, phone calls, emails, etc.) to referring physicians and staff, ensuring consistent communication and trust-building.
Education and Marketing
· Educate referring physicians and their teams on the services and treatments provided by FST.
· Organize and participate in physician-focused events such as lunch-and-learns, seminars, and conferences to promote the clinic and establish FST physicians as experts in the field.
· Collaborate with Marketing to create and distribute materials that support outreach and educational efforts.
Patient Referral Coordination
· Work closely with referring physicians to facilitate a smooth referral process, including scheduling appointments and obtaining medical records.
· Ensure seamless transitions for patients referred to FST, collaborating with internal teams to provide exceptional patient experiences.
· Identify and generate new referral opportunities through consistent outreach and relationship-building.
Market Analysis and Reporting
· Track referral patterns and outreach activities to inform future strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
· Conduct market research to assess trends, competitive activity, and areas for potential expansion.
· Report regularly on outreach efforts, providing insights that influence strategic decisions and refine marketing initiatives.
Budget and Territory Management
· Effectively manage a meals and entertainment budget to maximize outreach impact.
· Develop and execute a structured territory management plan, prioritizing outreach based on market needs and growth potential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field).
- Experience in healthcare, women’s health, or pharmaceutical sales strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to build relationships and manage a multi-site territory independently.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and data reporting tools.
- Organized, self-driven, and comfortable with frequent regional travel (including occasional overnight stays).
