Clinical Advisory Role & Scope of Work
NovoNest is seeking a Clinical Advisor (Obstetrician-Gynecologists (OBGYNs), Physician Assistants (PAs) with Obstetrics and Gynecology Experience, Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs)) to provide expert advisory oversight of lactation, postpartum, and nutrition services. This role is ideal for a maternal health professional who wants to influence digital healthcare innovation, guide service development, and support a platform designed to close access gaps in maternal care and supplemental support for Texas parents.
As a fractional clinical leader, you will collaborate closely with NovoNest's leadership team to establish best practices, refine workflows, and ensure clinical compliance, while helping expand our provider network.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of clinical experience focused on maternal and infant health. Obstetrician-Gynecologists (OBGYNs), Physician Assistants (PAs) with Obstetrics and Gynecology Experience, Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs). Texas licensure preferred.
- Prior experience in clinical leadership, telehealth, or advisory roles (preferred).
- Strong interest in digital health innovation and care delivery optimization.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight for lactation, postpartum, and nutrition services to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.
- Review and refine protocols, workflows, and documentation for virtual care delivery.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of healthcare providers, including IBCLCs, doulas, and dietitians.
- Advise on service development, regulatory compliance, and maternal health best practices.
- Engage with external partners and collaborators to broaden NovoNest’s reach.
Compensation
- 1099 contract role
- $90-150.00/hour via direct deposit
- Completion of W-9 required
Public Recognition & Visibility
NovoNest may feature Advisory Board members in public-facing materials (e.g., website, social media, pitch decks) to promote transparency and trust. This may include:
- Advisor name, credentials, and title
- Bio or professional summary
- Photo (if provided)
- Selected quotes, testimonials, or expert content
Advisors will have advance notice and review opportunities for major uses of their name or contributions.
