Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - OB/GYN
Join our dynamic healthcare team in Bad Axe, Michigan, at a reputable facility known for its commitment to women's health. We are currently seeking an OB/GYN Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to support our clinic operations, covering shifts from August 11th. Our facility operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, every other week, with an expected patient volume of 18-25 per day. You will be supported by a dedicated team of medical assistants and receptionists in a well-equipped environment utilizing Cerner for Electronic Health Records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive women's health services including OB/GYN care.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Document patient interactions in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and procedures.
- Participate in required training and orientation sessions.
Qualifications:
- Must be board certified in OB/GYN.
- A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Women's Health/OBGYN is required.
- Active Michigan nursing or physician assistant license.
- Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
- Must possess a valid DEA registration.
- Clean background check with no malpractice history.
