Job Title: Data Analyst
Reports to: Management team
Job Description:
· Analyze revenue cycle data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
· Track and report on patient collections, outstanding balances, and payment trends.
· Generate monthly revenue reports with detailed breakdowns of income sources (e.g., procedures, genetic testing, storage fees, insurance reimbursements, and patient payments).
· Assist the billing and accounting teams in reconciling payment discrepancies and improving collection strategies.
· Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights into revenue performance and operational efficiency.
· Identify denial trends and collaborate with the billing team to improve claim acceptance rates.
· Support financial forecasting and budgeting by analyzing historical revenue data.
· Evaluate practice management efficiency by analyzing staffing levels, productivity metrics, and patient volume trends.
· Provide insights and recommendations to improve patient payment compliance, reduce outstanding receivables, and optimize scheduling efficiency.
· Conduct staffing analysis to assess workload distribution and resource allocation for optimal productivity.
· Work with clinical and administrative teams to enhance workflow efficiency, patient scheduling, and operational effectiveness.
· Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all financial, operational, and staffing reports.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, Business Analytics, or a related field.
· Experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, medical billing, or patient collections.
· Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
· Strong understanding of financial reporting, revenue reconciliation, and key revenue cycle metrics.
· Experience with medical billing software and EHR systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks, NextGen, or similar) is a plus.
· Knowledge of CPT codes, insurance reimbursement processes, and denial management.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
· Ability to analyze staffing productivity and practice management efficiency to optimize resources.
· Excellent communication skills to convey data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in fertility clinic billing, IVF treatment pricing, and patient payment plans.
· Understanding of insurance claims, coding, and out-of-pocket patient expenses.
· Familiarity with third-party financing companies (e.g., CapexMD, Future Family, CareCredit).
· Knowledge of staffing models, scheduling efficiency, and operational KPIs for medical practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
