Job Description
Opportunities are now available at Epworth Richmond for casual twilight shifts within a variety of surgical specialities, including endoscopy, general surgery, urology, gynaecology, ear, nose and throat and orthopaedic surgery.
You will make an impact by-
- Delivering high-quality nursing care to ensure patient safety throughout their theatre journey
- Proactively evaluate the nursing care provided to achieve optimal patient outcomes
To be successful in this role-
As a Registered or Enrolled Nurse you will contribute to a supportive theatre team and an effective communicator who easily adapts to various situations. You consistently demonstrate compassion and empathy towards patients. With a solutions-focused mindset, you prioritise the patient's needs in every decision you make, and you enjoy working collaboratively with your team.
You will have-
- Current AHPRA registration
- Previous experience as a Scrub Scout is essential
- Experience in Urology, Orthopaedics, Endoscopy, General, Gynaecology and ENT is highly regarded.
- Ability to work a twilight roster commencing at 4 pm / 5 pm or 6 pm for a minimum of 4 hours
- Post graduate qualifications in Perioperative Nursing will be highly regarded but not essential

The annual salary range for full time Registered Nurses – AUD $68,212 - $95,776 + super + entitlements and Enrolled Nurses – AUD $66,094 - $74,667 + super + entitlements, depending on registration type, year level and position/experience (prorated for part-time).
