We are seeking a friendly, professional TISSUE BANK COORDINATOR for a full time position, possibly Hybrid.
Responsibilities include:
- Autonomously maintain and coordinate highly quality tissue inventory/management
- Processing and coordinating shipments of tissue(s) in and out of HavenCryo
- Liaison between HavenCryo and shipping sites
- Perform QA and QC procedures
- Maintain repository-specific equipment and monitoring systems
- Work in a collaborative relationship with the Tissue Bank Manger and other team members and departments
- Will be responsible for following specimen witnessing protocols to maintain the highest quality and lab standards –
- Data entry requirements include but are not limited to working with and maintaining the digital inventory database, Freezerworks
- Minor tank maintenance and responsibilities for monitoring temperatures and nitrogen levels
Education/Experience:
- Associates degree or better in a relevant science REQUIRED, Bachelors preferred
- Women’s health or infertility background highly desired
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills a must
