Job Description
An exciting
Regular Part-Time opportunity as an
Organizational & Talent Development Assistant reporting to the Manager, Organizational and Talent Development, is currently available.
Summary of Duties:
- Schedule leadership development program offerings
- Set up virtual and in person learning sessions in LMS (Civica) for participant enrolment in Management Fundamentals Program and Leadership Development modules.
- Track participants’ attendance of Management Fundamental and Leadership Development sessions in LMS (Civica)
- Support coordination and implementation of learning events (tech/AV, room set-up, take down, print workbooks, order catering, virtual meeting set-up etc.)
- Prepare and send out course evaluation to participants following completion of the course; prepare evaluation summary for Manager’s review.
- Track department metrics and statistics, and prepare information for distribution.
- Design promotional emails, posters and displays.
- Manage OD inbox, answer inquiries regarding OD initiatives
- Process invoices and purchase order numbers for procurement items.
- Update OD webpage on SharePoint.
As a role model and champion you will work to identify and integrate safe, best practices into daily activities to foster the delivery of safe and exemplary care.

Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related discipline
- Two years of progressively responsible and related experience
- Experience in a health care setting, preferably in a unionized environment.
- Experience in Organizational Development preferred
- Strong skills in Office 365 including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint and other communication platforms
- Proven ability to take initiative, problem-solve, prioritize duties, multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment with demands and interruptions
- Demonstrated WCH vision mission and values
- Proven attendance and punctuality
- Professional behaviour and communication that meets the standards of the professional regulatory college or association, as applicable, and the standards of Women’s College Hospital
- This position plays a critical role in acting as an advocate for safety and will demonstrate principles, practices and processes that will optimize a safe environment for all
