The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) is the leading standards body responsible for the training and education of specialists and GP obstetricians in obstetrics and gynaecology in Australia and New Zealand.
RANZCOG is committed to the establishment and maintenance of the highest possible standards of practice in women's health and provides programs in training, accreditation and continuing professional development (CPD) that are responsive to the evolving health care needs of women.

Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice to SIMGs around the application processes and the regulation impacts on their pathway.
- Check to ensure all relevant documentation has been received from the SIMG and prepare memos for committees and assessors to allow them to make an assessment.
- Process requests for advice with regards to the regulations.
- Record all applications and outcomes in databases and prepare letters to the SIMG with the outcome and any implications.
- Maintain the decision register.
- Identify improvements to processes and communications to stakeholders clarifying areas of the regulations and applications processes.
- Update the SIMG file, and ensure databases have the appropriate adjustments made to records to reflect decisions of Assessors.
- Support the chairs and committee members
- Maintain website content, forms and processes relating to this area to ensure currency.
- Provide advice to SIMGs and Assessors around the regulations relating to the training program.

- Excellent communication skills to converse with doctors from different countries to provide guidance and advice
- Excellent written communication skills, the ability to prepare accurate minutes, agendas and draft a range of correspondence and reports
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently liaise with a diverse range of people
- Experience in an administrative role involving the organisation of meetings and committee support.
- The ability to effectively handle conflicting priorities, establish timeframes and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate good working relationships with all stakeholders.
