About the Role

When the OB unit is not active, you’ll support the Med/Surg unit, ensuring seamless patient care across departments.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Idaho RN license or compact state equivalent
- Minimum 1 year obstetric nursing experience
- Certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (required upon hire); PALS within one year
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to obstetric patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum
- Assist with fetal monitoring, medication administration, and emergency response
- Educate patients and families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn health
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain compliance with safety and infection control protocols
