Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our andrology team on a part-time or per diem basis. The ideal candidate excels at the bench, demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, and performs with professionalism and independence in a highly regulated, patient-focused laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive semen analyses, including manual and Computer-Assisted Semen Analysis (CASA).
Process, cryopreserve, and store sperm and testicular tissue specimens in accordance with laboratory SOPs.
Maintain accurate documentation, quality control logs, and equipment calibration records.
Ensure compliance with New York State Department of Health, CLIA, and FDA reproductive tissue regulations.
Support specimen retrieval, thawing, and shipment coordination as needed.
Contribute to the culture of technical excellence and quality assurance that defines our laboratory.

Qualifications

New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License (required).
Minimum 2 years of clinical laboratory experience (andrology, embryology, or related fields preferred).
Proficiency with CASA systems and manual semen analysis preferred.
Strong organizational, observational, and documentation skills.
Knowledge of laboratory and tissue banking regulatory standards (preferred).
