An affiliated practice of Ascension St. Vincent’s is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join a collaborative, patient-focused women’s health team providing care in both hospital and outpatient settings throughout Jacksonville and surrounding areas.This is an excellent opportunity to practice within a respected, physician-led group that values holistic, evidence-based care and works closely with Ascension St. Vincent’s hospitals to support women before, during, and after pregnancy.ResponsibilitiesProvide independent and collaborative primary healthcare to women before, during, and after pregnancy, including postpartum and newborn care.Develop and implement individualized plans of care.Provide education and counseling to patients and families on childbirth, family planning, and gynecologic health.Support informed choice and shared decision-making.Participate in on-call rotation and deliveries at Ascension St. Vincent’s hospitals.RequirementsCertified Nurse Midwife credential (AMCB) required.Current Florida RN and APRN licenses.BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing, Midwifery, or related field.Commitment to providing compassionate, culturally sensitive, patient-centered care.About the PracticeThis affiliated practice collaborates with Ascension St. Vincent’s to deliver high-quality, family-centered maternity and gynecologic care across multiple community sites.
