What You Will Be Doing In This Role
We’re excited to welcome experienced Registered Midwives to join our vibrant, supportive team at NSW’s largest private hospital! We have full-time permanent roles available in our Birthing Unit, where you’ll provide personalised care and expert support to new families.
As a valued member of our team, you’ll work alongside a hands-on and flexible Nursing Unit Manager (NUM) who is committed to your ongoing success and professional growth. With a range of shifts available to suit your lifestyle (including some night shift requirements), you’ll enjoy a healthy work-life balance while being supported every step of the way.
We offer a thorough two-week orientation and continuous guidance from our NUM and Team Leaders, ensuring you feel confident and well-supported in your role.

Who We’re Looking For
- You’ll bring current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife, with a minimum of 5 years’ post-registration experience within a Birthing Unit, allowing you to confidently provide expert care.
- Ideally, you’ll have experience within a private hospital setting, though we are open to all qualified midwives passionate about making a difference.
- You’ll be known for your deep empathy and emotional intelligence, creating a compassionate environment where mothers and newborns feel truly supported.
- Communication is your strength, and you excel in both verbal and written forms, building trust and rapport with patients, their families, and your colleagues.
- You’ll be flexible with your shift availability, and will be able to commit to a rotating roster that includes some nights.
- You’ll hold full Australian working rights, enabling you to contribute to our supportive and collaborative team with confidence.
