Position Summary
We are seeking a Fertility Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is essential in guiding patients through every step of their fertility journey — from initial consultation through treatment completion. The ideal candidate is empathetic, organized, and highly detail-oriented, with a strong understanding of fertility treatment processes, patient coordination, and third-party reproduction.
Responsibilities
- Patient Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact for patients undergoing fertility treatments, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience.
- Cycle Management: Coordinate and track all stages of fertility treatment cycles, including scheduling ultrasounds, lab work, procedures, and follow-up appointments.
- Third-Party Reproduction Support: Manage donor and recipient programs by coordinating medical and psychological evaluations, facilitating matching processes, and ensuring all documentation and compliance standards are met.
- Education and Support: Provide compassionate guidance and education about treatment protocols, medications, and procedures. Address questions, concerns, and emotional needs throughout the process.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, embryologists, and administrative staff to ensure cohesive care delivery and timely communication.
- Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with HIPAA and clinic policies. Stay informed about current laws, ethical standards, and best practices in fertility medicine.
- Patient Advocacy: Ensure each patient’s experience reflects the clinic’s commitment to personalized, ethical, and high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in fertility, women’s health, or reproductive medicine required
- Strong understanding of fertility treatment protocols, donor programs, and IVF processes
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work compassionately with individuals and couples navigating sensitive issues
- Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office
