About the Role
Be at the forefront of implementing a new multidisciplinary care model for pregnant women with complex needs. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a multidisciplinary team comprising obstetricians, midwives, social workers, mental health professionals, and legal specialists
- Providing antenatal and acute care, including clinic and theatre duties
- Supporting and supervising Junior Medical Staff while fostering professional development
- Contributing to clinical guidelines and quality improvement initiatives
What We Are Looking For
We’re seeking FRANZCOG-qualified specialists or equivalent, with:
- AHPRA Specialist Registration or international registration (eligible for peer-review pathways)
- Expertise in managing high-risk pregnancies and complex care
- Collaborative communication and leadership skills within multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to patient-centred care, safety, and quality standards
- A passion for mentoring junior staff and contributing to research or service innovation
