The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Specialist in Fetal Medicine to join our Level 3 NHSE-commissioned Fetal Medicine Centre at The Royal London Hospital.
This role will provide continuity of care, training oversight, and MDT leadership within the service. You will act as a key link between consultants, trainees, midwives and wider multidisciplinary teams, with responsibility for rota oversight, MDT meetings, and clinical service development.
You must be an expert in ultrasound, counselling, and invasive procedures, with the ability to independently manage complex cases.

Provide high quality care to patients in maternity
The post holder must be medically qualified and maintain GMC registration.
- To develop and maintain the competencies required to carry out the duties required of the post.
- To ensure prompt attendance at agreed direct clinical care programmed activities.
- To ensure patients are involved in decisions about their care and to respond to their views.
