Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily laboratory tasks as assigned by the Laboratory Director or Administrative Director
- Draw and process patient bloodwork accurately and efficiently
- Ensure patient comfort and maintain professionalism during phlebotomy procedures
- Label and document all specimens correctly, ensuring accurate patient identification
- Assist in maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment
- Monitor and restock laboratory supplies; request reorders as needed
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and clinic staff to ensure timely test results
- Maintain proper infection control and safety procedures in the lab
- Prepare and update patient orientation booklets and training materials
- Assist with staff training and onboarding of new team members
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician or Phlebotomy program
- Certification with MLPAO or CSMLS preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical or fertility laboratory setting an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with basic computer applications and laboratory equipment
- Mature, reliable, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision

Availability to rotate between sites and work occasional weekends or holidays as needed.
