Are you a passionate, dedicated Registered Midwife looking to make a real impact in maternity care? Nepean Hospital’s Birth Unit is seeking enthusiastic and skilled Midwives to join our supportive and experienced team.
As a Registered Midwife in our Birth Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based care to women and their families throughout the birthing journey. You will be working in a dynamic environment that supports normal birth while being equipped to manage complex and high-risk pregnancies.
Our Birth Unit supports a diverse community and offers Midwives the opportunity to broaden their clinical expertise within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

What you will bring to the role:
- Current registration with AHPRA Registered Midwife (division 1)
- Demonstrated recent experience and clinical skill in midwifery, including completion of a new graduate year or equivalent experience in Midwifery
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
- Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide woman centred care
- Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development
- Ability to work a flexible roster, day, evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit/service requirements
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment
