Our nurses at HCRM are highly valued members of the clinical team, working closely with our physicians to provide personal and compassionate care to our fertility patients. HCRM staff partners with patients to help them through their fertility journey. Our IVF nurses guide and educate our patients through their fertility evaluations, testing, monitoring and treatments.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Patient interaction and coordination of infertility testing and treatment plans, including IVF and IUI cycles, between patients and physicians
- Maintain patient records in an EMR
- Telephone communication with patients regarding medications, treatment plans, test results and procedure scheduling
- Provide patient education and counseling on treatment protocols, medications and infertility procedures
- Timely and accurate communication of physician orders, instructions and lab results to patients
- Timely and accurate communication with all staff to provide the highest level of quality patient care
- Exhibit excellent customer care
- Work and communicate well with other staff members in share work spaces, able to stretch, bend, lift/carry up to 40 pounds, and be able to sit for extended periods of time
Skills:
- Professional or personal experience with fertility treatment
- Demonstrated success as a clinical team member and care coordinator
- Experience with patient education
- Demonstrated warm and empathetic care
- Demonstrated attention to detail, completing tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- A current Nebraska RN license or reside in a nurse license compact state
- Current BLS
