Role Overview

The Director of Strategic Accounts will lead Femasys’ commercial engagement with the nation’s largest fertility conglomerates, integrated health systems, and financing organizations. This highly strategic role will be responsible for driving large-scale adoption and contracting of Femasys products while also partnering with executive leadership to shape reimbursement pathways across the U.S.

The ideal candidate brings deep relationships within reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) networks, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), and payer/finance stakeholders, with proven experience in building market access and accelerating adoption of disruptive medical technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account Leadership
- Serve as primary executive contact for top U.S. fertility networks, REI conglomerates, and large gynecology-practice contracting health systems.
- Build executive-level partnerships to secure formulary inclusion, system-wide contracting, and adoption of Femasys’ product portfolio.
- Lead negotiations for national and regional agreements, ensuring alignment with revenue growth objectives.
Market Access & Reimbursement Strategy
- Collaborate closely with the VP of Sales and CCO to develop and execute reimbursement strategies that expand patient access to Femasys technologies.
- Engage with financing groups, payers, and policy influencers to secure favorable coverage and innovative financing models.
- Provide strategic insights on market dynamics, reimbursement trends, and competitor positioning.
Commercial Execution
- Partner with sales leadership to drive downstream adoption and utilization within clinics under strategic accounts.
- Develop business cases and value propositions tailored for executive decision-makers.
- Deliver quarterly pipeline and performance updates to C-suite and board.

Qualifications

15+ years in medical device, biotech, or fertility/OBGYN healthcare leadership roles.
Proven track record in enterprise contracting with IDNs, GPOs, and specialty networks.
Strong relationships within the U.S. fertility and women’s health ecosystem.
Demonstrated experience in reimbursement strategy development and payer engagement.
Executive presence with exceptional communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
