Laboratory Assistant
Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Copy and scan documents into a database system
- Initial documents after witnessing the clinical/lab procedures
- Must be able to enter data into database system accurately and efficiently, paying close to detail with minimal errors
- Fill liquid nitrogen to the LN2 tanks as needed
- Monitor inventory and organize disposable supplies in storage room. Order disposable supplies as needed.
- Room patients to the production room, receive semen specimen cup, and verify if the information on the cup is accurate. Transfer the specimen cup into the warm chamber and notify lab personnel that the specimen is ready.
- Disinfect and sanitize patient rooms after each use and prepare room for the next patient
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist in other administrative tasks
- Must be able to lift specimen tanks up to 40 lbs when necessary
- Other duties as assigned by the Lab Director
Experience/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in biology or life sciences or equivalent required
- A minimum of 1 year of lab experience preferred
- Previous experience in IVF center preferred
- 1-2 years’ experience working in lab environment preferred
- Must be a great communicator and team player
- Highly organized and ability to multitask

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
