Our team is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our group of experienced patient care specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care across various treatments including ovulation induction, egg freezing, sperm analysis, IVF, and oocyte donation.
- Assist with pre-, intra-, and post-operative care during egg retrieval procedures.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise in all aspects of IVF procedures.
- Support physicians during examinations and procedures; perform phlebotomy and administer medications to infertility patients.
- Educate patients on treatment protocols, medications, and fertility-related procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely communication of lab results to patients.
- Serve as a liaison between patients and physicians, maintaining consistent and clear communication.
- Communicate physician instructions to patients and document accordingly.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date patient records, test results, and treatment flow sheets.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
- Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and patient safety.
- Perform vital signs assessment and phlebotomy procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments under physician supervision.
- Coordinate and manage prescription orders via our EMR system.
- Perform IV insertions efficiently and confidently.
- Promote clinic services and products as appropriate during patient interactions.
Skills
- Active California RN license - Prior experience in IVF medicine (preferred)
- Phlebotomy and IV insertion proficiency is a must.
- At least 1 year of prior experience in women's health (required)
- BLS Certification/ACLS Certification (preferred)
- Solid understanding of nursing care protocols, particularly in a fertility or women's health setting.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience with phlebotomy and IV insertion.
