We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sonography and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring the highest quality of images while maintaining patient comfort and safety. Your expertise in maternal-fetal medicine and Ob/Gyn will be invaluable in delivering accurate assessments and supporting our patients throughout their healthcare journey.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality sonographic examinations, including obstetric and gynecological imaging.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to obtain accurate diagnostic images.
- Maintain aseptic technique during procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, answer questions, and provide reassurance.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans.
- Keep up-to-date with medical terminology and advancements in diagnostic radiology techniques.
- Document all imaging results accurately and maintain patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated for optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sonography, particularly in maternal-fetal medicine and Ob/Gyn settings.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging.
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and equipment operation.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
