Job Summary
The Ultrasonographer plays a crucial role in the healthcare team by performing diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology. This position involves working closely with patients to provide high-quality imaging services, ensuring patient comfort and safety while accurately capturing images for interpretation by physicians. The Ultrasonographer will utilize their expertise in maternal-fetal medicine and obstetrics/gynecology to deliver precise diagnostic information.
Duties
- Conduct ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to obstetric and gynecological scans.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
- Utilize appropriate sonographic techniques to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans.
- Keep accurate records of all procedures performed, including patient history and imaging results.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and best practices in sonography.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of maternal-fetal medicine and obstetrics/gynecology practices.
- Proficient understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to ultrasound procedures.

Pay: $1,450.00 - $1,650.00 per week
