Job Description:
Minnesota Mental Health Clinics is excited to welcome a Reproductive/Women’s Health Prescriber (Psychiatrist or PMHNP) to our practice. This role specializes in providing psychiatric evaluation and medication management for perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), reproductive mood disorders, menopause/perimenopause-related concerns, and fertility-related mental health needs. Our prescribers work closely with therapists and other clinicians to provide comprehensive, coordinated care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for clients with reproductive and women’s mental health concerns.
- Prescribe, monitor, and manage psychotropic medications tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with therapists and other providers to ensure coordinated, client-centered care.
- Provide education and support regarding medications to clients and their families.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with medical, ethical, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to support recovery and stability.
- Participate in interdisciplinary consultation and collaboration within the clinic.
- Stay up to date with continuing education and best practices in women’s and reproductive mental health.
Qualifications:
- MD with psychiatry residency or PMHNP certification.
- Active Minnesota license.
- Specialized training in reproductive psychiatry or women’s mental health.
