We are seeking to fill the role of a PRN PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse with a passion for fertility and women's health.

PRN HOURS, including rotating weekends and holidays.

Essential Responsibilities:

Pre-Operative Duties
- Assess, educate, and prepare patients prior to surgery.
- Ensure completion and accuracy of informed and operative consents.
- Record vital signs and health history to determine surgical readiness.
- Initiate IVs and educate patients on the surgical process.
- Address patient concerns and ensure comfort prior to procedure.
Intra-Operative Duties
- Demonstrate understanding of surgical procedures and equipment setup.
- Utilize and maintain up-to-date surgeon preference cards.
- Anticipate surgeon needs and assist with efficient case flow.
- Serve as circulating nurse, coordinating the operating room during procedures.
- Support smooth transitions between surgical cases.
Post-Operative Duties
- Monitor patients' post-operative condition and vital signs.
- Document progress and meet discharge criteria.
- Perform emergency interventions as needed.
- Report significant condition changes to the physician.
- Ensure complete, accurate documentation in patient records.

Education and/or Experience:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ASN or BSN), with a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
Two (2) years’ experience as an PreOp and/or PACU Nurse required
Current BCLS certification
Current ACLS certification preferred or basic EKG or Arrhythmia identification certification.
IV skills preferred
