We are looking for Full and Part-Time Medical Receptionists at our Fertility Centres throughout London, supporting our commitment to delivering high-quality fertility services in line with HFEA (Human
Fertilisation and Embryology Authority) regulations.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dedicated team that assists patients with sensitivity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Front Desk Management: Welcome and register patients with empathy, ensuring
confidentiality and respect throughout their visit.
2. Patient Coordination: Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and coordinate
consultations with doctors, nurses, and other clinic staff, following HFEA data protection and
confidentiality guidelines.
3. Communication: Provide clear and accurate information on procedures, clinic policies, and
patient rights, ensuring patients understand all necessary information about their fertility
treatment options.
4. Administration Support: Manage patient files, update electronic records, handle inquiries,
and assist with necessary documentation in compliance with HFEA standards.
5. Supportive Environment: Work closely with clinical staff to create a calm and supportive
environment for patients undergoing fertility treatment, adhering to ethical and regulatory
requirements outlined by the HFEA.
Essential Requirements:
1. Experience in a Medical Environment: Previous experience in a healthcare setting or
similar administrative role is highly desirable.
2. Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and
communicate effectively with patients, respecting emotional and psychological factors in
fertility care.
3. Strong Organizational Skills: Capability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate
records, and ensure smooth clinic operations.
4. Understanding of HFEA Standards: Familiarity with HFEA regulations is beneficial. Training
will be provided to ensure compliance with ethical standards and patient privacy guidelines.
