We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Diagnostics Specialist to join our medical laboratory team. This position plays a vital role in supporting diagnostic testing workflows, ensuring accuracy, and delivering timely, high-quality results that support patient care.
Key Responsibilities:

Adhere to established laboratory protocols for reviewing and maintaining accurate records of patient test results.
- Comply with all laboratory quality assurance and safety control policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate the ability to identify issues that may compromise test performance or result reporting and take corrective action or promptly escalate concerns to the Diagnostics Manager.
- Document all deviations from established performance standards, along with the corrective actions implemented.
- Maintain flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and overnight shifts as required by workload demands and operational needs.
- Foster collaboration with other departments to ensure coordinated and effective workflow.
- Exhibit strong organizational and accountability skills to support timely and accurate reporting of laboratory results.
- Perform additional duties as assigned in support of laboratory operations.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Possess a current license issued by the State in which the laboratory is located if such licensing is required.
- OR a bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences from an accredited institution, plus at least six months of supervised experience or relevant training in high complexity testing.
Minimum 2–3 years of clinical laboratory experience.
