We work closely with families across the GTA, offering personalized, in-home care that is warm, informed, and empowering. As we expand, we are seeking compassionate, experienced professionals to join our team of independent contractors, people who are as passionate about restorative postpartum care as we are.
About the Role
As an Overnight Infant Care Specialist, you will be the calming presence and capable hands that parents rely on through the night. You’ll support families during the most vulnerable hours, ensuring baby is cared for and feeding needs are met, while parents rest and recover. You are a calming presence, a confident educator, and a vital part of a family’s postpartum journey.

Responsibilities Include:
- Providing in-home overnight care for newborns (8–12 hour shifts
- Supporting feeding (breast/chest, bottle, or combo) and safe sleep routine
- Implementing responsive infant sleep strategies
- Soothing, burping, changing, tracking feeds and sleep
- Offering gentle guidance and evidence-based education to families
- Supporting maternal rest, emotional wellness, and confidence
- Light baby-related tasks (e.g. bottle prep, laundry, tidying nursery)
- Maintaining a non-judgmental, respectful, and nurturing presence
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome and will prioritize applications from highly qualified, experienced caregivers who are passionate about women’s health, infant wellness, and family-centered care.
We are especially seeking:
- Certified Postpartum Doulas
- Registered Social Workers (OCSWSSW)
- Naturopathic Doctors (NDs)
- Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs)
- Registered Nurses (RNs)
- Early Childhood Educators (ECEs)
- Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs)
We welcome applicants from these backgrounds who meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on newborn and/or postpartum care experience
- Current Infant CPR & First Aid certification (Level B or higher)
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 12 months)
- Proof of personal liability insurance (required for subcontractors)
- Access to reliable transportation throughout the GTA
- Comfortable working independently overnight in family homes
- Multilingual or culturally diverse candidates strongly encouraged to apply
Schedule & Availability
- We are hiring for overnight shifts (typically 10PM–6AM or 8PM–6AM)
- Minimum availability of 2–3 nights per week, including weekends and some holidays
- Flexible, client-based scheduling
- Must be able to travel within a 50 km radius of your home
