About Us:
Dallas IVF is a nationally recognized fertility center dedicated to exceptional patient care and innovative reproductive technology. We are currently hiring a full-time Andrologist Supervisor to oversee our andrology laboratory services across multiple Dallas IVF locations. This leadership role ensures the highest standards of laboratory performance, safety, compliance, and patient support. Please note, this position requires a TS (ABB) in Andrology.
Key Responsibilities:
General Supervision (approx. 20% of the time):
- Provide overall supervision for all andrology lab procedures.
- While not required to be on-site at all times, must be accessible for on-site, telephone, or electronic consultation as needed.
- Works closely with Technical Supervisor and reports any concerns and adverse events in a timely manner.
Technical & Operational Duties (approx. 80% of the time):
- Manage inventory control: maintain inventory lists, order reagents/supplies/equipment, and track purchasing records and receipts.
- Oversee and implement laboratory quality control procedures.
- Perform andrology laboratory procedures in alignment with Dallas IVF protocols and standards.
- Support the Laboratory Director as needed, including:
- Reviewing and initialing lab reports in their absence
- Reviewing quality control (QC) data
- Writing and submitting incident reports
- Participate in laboratory procedures commonly performed by Medical Technologist Andrology/Endocrinology staff.
- Order and keep inventory of routinely used supplies.
- Maintains adequate supply of inventory and places monthly orders as needed.
- Prepare all laboratory materials for DALLAS IVF procedures and the andrology laboratory.
- Assists in ordered supply bill processing
- Assist as appropriate in the reporting of all necessary data to the governing agencies such as SART.
- Assists in IVF /FET worksheet starts and reports cycles prospectively in SART.
- Assists in completing open cycles in SART.
- Assist in data submission and presentations at scientific meetings.
- Assist in preparation of manuscripts
- Assesses competency of new employees and completes the training documentation of new employees.
- Assists in new employee interview and screening process.
- Can state process for reporting ethical and legal concerns and initiates appropriate referrals in response to ethical dilemmas.
- Aware of DALLAS IVF ethical guidelines and protocols and demonstrates ability to abide by these.
- Gives direction and guidance to new employees and support personnel, and assists them with troubleshooting.
- Maintains new employee training binders and reviews their progress.
- Processes cryopreserved sperm disposition, ship-in/ ship-out in a timely manner.
- Performs routine quality control and maintains accurate records, recognizing out of range control results and act on those appropriately.
- Participates in QI and statistical data collection when requested.
- Performs annual instrument maintenance.
- Assists with and performs semi-annual calibrations.
- Completes Andrology monthly worksheets audits for all sites
- Accurate and complete documentation of procedures, decisions and communications according to protocol.
- Assist in keeping forms and protocols updated.
- Performs biannual PT testing through the ABB/AAB
- Performs yearly sperm cryopreservation inventory.
- Prepares for and participates during CAP or CLIA site inspections for all DIVF laboratories.
- Consistently communicates with support services to meet patient care needs.
- Performs semen analyses, sperm preparation for intrauterine insemination and other laboratory tests for male infertility.
- Evaluates and solves problems related to the collection and processing of biological specimens e.g. sperm for IVF vs., ICSI.
- Incorporates principles of educational methodology in the instruction of new employees and in the laboratory’s in-service/continuing education program.
- Respond to emergency situations appropriately and according to protocol.
- Recognize safety hazards; act to protect patients, self and others.
- Demonstrate knowledge of emergency preparedness codes.
- Support and participate in safety and infection control programs.
- Respond to equipment alarms and notify appropriate staff according to protocol.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Education:
- BA or BS in a science-related field or medical technology OR current Laboratory Supervisor license
- TS (ABB) Certification
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of lab experience
- Andrology experience is a must
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication abilities
- Ability to oversee multiple tasks, labs, and staff while maintaining high standards for compliance and performance
Working Conditions:
- Full-time, in-person position based across multiple Dallas IVF locations, primarily at our Frisco location
- Requires availability for early mornings and weekend (Saturday and Sunday) hours
- Routine exposure to blood-borne pathogens and bodily fluids
- Universal precautions and lab safety protocols must be followed at all times

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
