Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Midwife to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to women throughout their pregnancy, labor, and postpartum periods. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for mothers and their newborns.

Responsibilities

Provide prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care to expectant mothers.
Monitor patient health by assessing vital signs and conducting routine examinations.
Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
Educate patients on family planning, childbirth options, and newborn care.
Perform necessary procedures such as venipuncture and coding for medical records.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and care plans within electronic health systems.
Collaborate with Ob/Gyn specialists when complications arise or additional medical intervention is required.
Support patients emotionally throughout their pregnancy journey, ensuring they feel informed and empowered.

Qualifications

Certification as a Midwife from an accredited institution.
Strong knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and vital signs assessment.
Experience in family planning and patient care within a clinical setting.
Familiarity with coding practices for medical documentation is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding.

Pay: $128,263.00 - $130,182.00 per year
