OB/GYN Benefits:

Compensation: $305,707.00 - $372,575.00 Annually

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 am-5 pm, Flexible

Medical/Dental/Vision: Choice of PPO and HMO plans, including Anthem Blue Cross, Kaiser, Delta Dental, and VSP. Dependent coverage available.

Benefit Allowance: Annual benefit amount applied toward health premiums, pro-rated over 24 pay periods.

Retirement: Defined benefit plan under the 1937 County Employees Retirement Act, integrated with Social Security. Reciprocity with CalPERS and other county systems.

Deferred Compensation: 457 Plan administered by Empower; flexible employee contributions.

Time Off: 12 holidays + 1 personal holiday, 2–5 weeks vacation based on service, 12 sick days annually (unlimited accrual).

Insurance: $10,000 life insurance and long-term disability (up to 60% income, max $5,000/month).

No direct supervision of staff

Additional Perks: FSA accounts, retiree medical, $5,000 CE allowance, up to $1,000 license renewal reimbursement, and potential to earn up to $32,000/year in incentive bonuses. Encounters of 300 per month will be awarded $30/encounter for each encounter over 300.
OB/GYN Requirements:
-
Graduation from a medical school approved by the Board of Medical Quality Assurance of the State of California.

One year of experience as an intern at a hospital approved by the Board of Medical Quality Assurance of the State of California; completion of a residency in Obstetrics/Gynecology from a program approved by the American Board of Medical Specialties.

Possession of a valid Physician's and Surgeon's license issued by the State of California. Board eligible or certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Possession of, or ability to obtain an appropriate, valid California driver's license. Possession of, or ability to obtain a supervising physician certificate from the California Medical Board within a time frame required by the Director of Health Services.

Special Requirements: Possession of admitting privileges at a local hospital or hospitals as determined by the Health Services Director. Applicants may be appointed with immediate application of hospital admitting privileges. Continued employment is contingent upon obtaining the specified privileges.

Essential Functions:

Maintain clinic records and prepare reports.

May refer patients requiring special diagnostic procedures or treatments to appropriate sources.

Admit patients to area hospitals and in coordination with other physicians as necessary.

Act as supervising physician for mid-level providers and interns.

Estimated encounters/day 15-25 depending on volume.
